This region has no canonical name, and has been named by fans. Inspiration has been taken from the real river in Egypt.

The Nile is the large body of water that the world of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy inhabits.

History[]

The Nile is located directly beneath Abydos, and surrounds Heliopolis on three sides.

Khonsu's boat is the only way for Sphinx to physically cross the Nile; otherwise Portal Gods are used.

The Nile is a bright blue, similar to pool water.

Connection with ancient Egypt[]

Much of ancient Egypt's culture was focused on the river Nile and the duality between the fertile river basin and the surrounding arid desert, and Egypt might not even have existed without it.
