Gold Ankh Pieces are quest items in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. There are twenty total.

History

Over the course of his quest, Sphinx acquired a number of Gold Ankh Pieces. Upon meeting Shetta in the Bedouin Outpost, he could use four of them to create a Gold Ankh, which would add on to his life meter. This ritual costs 200 Scarabs in addition to the four ankh pieces.

Locations

1. Abydos: Give the bum near the bridge a total of thirty scarabs, and he will in turn give you a Gold Ankh Piece.
2. Cursed Palace Area: Swim out to the three targets, shoot them quickly, and you will receive a Gold Ankh Piece.
3. Cursed Palace Area: Do the Obstacle Course in at least 78 seconds (1 minute, 18 seconds) to receive a Gold Ankh Piece.
4. Riverside Farm: Under the bridge/waterfall, use a Slim Burble on the boulders to uncover a chest containing a Gold Ankh Piece.
5. Heliopolis: Use a Fire Armadillo on the wooden platform that contains the boulder. It will roll down the hill, destroying an obelisk near the Cursed Palace Area. Inside is a chest containing a Gold Ankh Piece.
6. Abydos Museum: Return the first Abydosian Jewel to the Abydos Museum.
7. Abydos Museum: Return the second Abydosian Jewel to the Abydos Museum.
8. Abydos Museum: Return the third Abydosian Jewel to the Abydos Museum.
9. Heliopolis Point: Herd the four Squirts into their pen.
10. Heliopolis Desert: On a ledge, through a cave, behind a boulder near the Bedouin Outpost, Great Wall Entrance III, and the Heliopolis Point door.
11. Heliopolis: Burn down the wooden barricade to the left of the Obstacle Course bridge button.
12. Riverside Farm: The fourth hole on the farm contains a Gold Ankh Piece.
13. Lost Temple of Heliopolis: After you have obtained the final piece of the Rosetta Stone and defeated the three sets of monsters, you will receive a Gold Ankh Piece.
14. Heliopolis Point: Win the race to hit the pendant and you will obtain a Gold Ankh Piece from the athlete.
15. Heliopolis Point: Buy it from Gebel's Glyph Shop (requires Onyx Scarabs).
16. Heliopolis Point: Buy it from Gebel's Glyph Shop (requires Onyx Scarabs).
17. Abydos Museum: Return the fifth Abydosian Jewel to the Abydos Museum.
18. Abydos Museum: Return the sixth Abydosian Jewel to the Abydos Museum.
19. Bedouin Outpost: Complete the final (third) monster list.
20. Riverside Farm: The fifteenth hole on the farm contains a Gold Ankh Piece.

Trivia

• Gold Ankh Pieces are often received as rewards.
• They appear to share the same size and shape as a Gold Ankh, but are completely hollow in the middle.
