The Goofy Lizard is a monster in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.

Description Edit

Journal Description Edit

From the moment they are born, Goofy Lizards are clumsy, forgetful, but ultimately good-natured. Known to spend many hours futilely attacking their own shadow. - Book of Sphinx

Museum Description Edit

The Goofy Lizard’s behavior implies a complete lack of common sense, matched only by their apparent lack of coordination. The most popular domesticated animal in existence. - Abydos Museum

Traits, Appearance, and Abilities Edit

The Goofy Lizard looks like a green tropical lizard, and its head resembles that of a Western dragon's. Similarly to the Australian frilled lizard, it had two large "fans" on the side of its head. The face came to a long narrow snout. Goofy Lizards, as the name suggests, moves around in an erratic goofy fashion.

Strategy Edit

Strategy for Sphinx - After accessing the Abydos Canal, talk to the man standing by the Goofy Lizard. This character tells you that he bought the lizard to impress his girlfriend, but it won't do tricks or anything. This is your clue to how to obtain the lizard for the museum. To obtain the lizard, get all of the game medals and go back to the canal. Trade the medals for the lizard.
