Kemmet (also known as Kemmet the Inventor) is a neutral character in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy who is only encountered twice.
Biography[]
Kemmet lives on the Abydos Canal. In general, he does not allow visitors if they're not coming on business. When the Mayor was ill, he gave Sphinx the Medicine Bag to heal him. After the Mayor was healed, Kemmet gave Sphinx a Canopic Vase.
Traits and Appearance[]
Kemmet has brown feathers, a red and black outfit and a gold mask. He's unfriendly towards those who come by his home that are not on business, telling them to go away.
Connection with Ancient Egypt[]
His name is the ancient Egyptian name for Egypt itself: km.t, meaning "black land".
