The Pharaoh of Heliopolis is a character in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. He rules the land of Heliopolis.
Biography[]
Cursed Palace[]
Anubis had turned the Pharaoh of Heliopolis into stone in an attempt to protect him from Set. When Sphinx releases him from the curse of the palace with the pink Curse Stone, it is revealed that it is too late, and the pharaoh had already been replaced by a minion of Set in an effort to gain the Sacred Crown of Heliopolis. Sphinx chases the pharaoh down the palace's catacombs, only to witness him transform into the Pharaoh Spider. After a long confrontation, Sphinx kills him.
The fate of the true pharaoh is never discovered.
Appearance and Traits[]
The Pharaoh of Heliopolis seems to be the same species as Imhotep, a purple-skinned ape.
