The Smiling Burble is a monster in Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy.
Description[]
- "An eccentric member of the Burble species which uses its horns to attack. Their cloth hats have been worn for so many generations, they now grow atop their heads from birth."
- ―Book of Sphinx
- "Uses its horns in a haphazard manner."
- ―Monster Inspector
- "This little critter is one of the less harmful members of the Burble family, having lost the explosive properties indicative of its species. Their powerful horns can shatter rock, although their lack of coordination lessens the threat this would normally pose."
- ―Abydos Museum
Traits, Appearance, and Abilities[]
Smiling Burbles, like their explosive relatives, have a green body with no arms. Unlike the Slim Burble, however, they charge rather than explode. Although the Museum Description states that their horns can shatter rock, it seems that when they charge they simply become stuck.
Strategy for Sphinx[]
Avoid their charges, and don't hit them when they have their force field up.
Locations[]
- Uruk Canyon
- Uruk Temple (Non-Respawning)
Trivia[]
- In the game's original release, these monsters did not respawn. In the 2017 release, an update was added in which this was no longer the case.
